On June 5, 2025, the Chinese Academy of Fiscal Sciences (CAFS) and the Financial Research Institute (FRI) of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation jointly convened the 2025 China-Russia Financial Think Tank Seminar (Phase II). The seminar focused on two topics, namely “Medical Insurance Systems in China and Russia” and “Healthcare Financing and Fiscal Expenditure Mechanisms in China and Russia.” The seminar was co-chaired by Ms. Xing Li, Vice President of the CAFS and Igor Kovtun, Advisor to the Director of the FRI.
